About Plutarch
Plutarch (c. 46 – c. 119 AD) was a Greek biographer and philosopher, best known for his works "Parallel Lives," which juxtaposes the lives of notable Greeks and Romans to explore moral lessons and character traits. Born in Chavris, he became a prominent figure in the philosophical circles of his time and contributed significantly to the understanding of ethics, history, and the scholarship of antiquity.
