About Gurdjieff
Georges Ivanovich Gurdjieff (1866–1949) was a Russian mystic, philosopher, and spiritual teacher known for developing a unique system of personal development and spiritual awakening that he called "The Work." He founded the Institute for the Harmonious Development of Man in France and synthesized Eastern and Western spiritual traditions to teach the importance of self-awareness and conscious living. Gurdjieff's ideas, conveyed through his writings and teachings, have influenced various fields, including psychology, philosophy, and the arts.
