About Franklin P. Adams
Franklin P. Adams (1881–1960) was an American newspaper columnist, humorist, and lyricist best known for his witty observations and sharp commentary on society. A prominent figure in the early 20th century, he wrote for various publications, including the New York Evening Mail, where his columns gained widespread popularity. Adams was also a member of the Algonquin Round Table, a group of influential New York City writers and intellectuals, and he contributed lyrics to several Broadway shows.
